We are hundreds of miles from New York and Los Angeles - somewhere in the middle.
Collectively, we are outsiders.
We create. We share. We grow. We travel.
We listen. We entertain. We watch. We read.
We write. And we’re pretty good at all of it.
We are the go-getting small-timers.
From Louisville, Kentucky, we bring you the
easy-going, approachable magazine for the rest of us.
Bejeezus began in 1999 as an irregularly published cut & paste fanzine.
Nine years later, it is now a full color arts & culture magazine dedicated to reclaiming southern culture.
Each issue highlights art and culture found in the southern United States and strives to challenge stereotypes of the South, by focusing on its often-underappreciated art, music, film, crafts, food, and literature.
Starting with issue 12, we will be on a bi-annual printing schedule, with issues coming out in November and April.
